Sandstone Bluestone Herringbone

About Sandstone Bluestone Herringbone

These slim blue-gray sandstone pavers are made for the herringbone pattern. Each carries a natural riven face, and the silver and slate tones shift from piece to piece, so the surface reads cool and classic rather than flat.

In a herringbone, rectangular pieces are set at right angles so each one butts into the side of the next, forming a continuous zigzag. Because every paver locks against its neighbors, the pattern resists shifting under foot and vehicle traffic, which makes it a good choice for borders around patios and pools, for walkways and for driveway aprons. Pavers are 1¼″ thick, in cleft, sawn or thermal finishes.
