Apollos is a medium-grained sandstone whose pinkish and yellowish tones read as one calm, even color. It is especially valued in restoration, where it sits beside original period surfaces without a visible seam and keeps the character of old architectural elements.
The same durability and color make it a good paving stone for new work. Pattern stock is 1¼″ thick, coping is 2″, and other cuts are available.
