Premium Eastern Bluestone is a light gray bluestone with a fine charcoal speckle and a silver-white grain. Its shot-peened finish gives the face a grainy, irregular relief that is naturally non-slip, which makes it a sound choice around pools and on stairs. The finish is applied to the top face only; the underside and edges are sawn, with the edges lightly brushed for a clean, softened line.
Standard paving comes in seven formats from 12 × 12″ to 16 × 32″, ¾″ or 1¼″ thick, with custom pieces up to 35½″ wide on request. It suits terraces and patios, pool coping, garden surrounds, stairs, steps and risers.
