Questions

Questions about Global Select

What is Global Select?

Global Select is Stonewood Products’ collection of natural stone from quarries around the world, chosen for its character, in stock or imported to order for your project. It covers five natural stone groups (granite, limestone, reclaimed stone, quartzite, and cleft and riven stone) as pavers, cobbles, flagstones, tile and flooring. Every stone has its own page with photos, sizes, finishes and lead time.

Stones that aren’t in stock are special orders. Open the stone’s page and use Quote Request: a Stonewood specialist replies with pricing, stock and delivery options for your project. We handle the importing, the freight and the delivery.

Samples are available on request: ask from the stone’s page (Request Samples) and we’ll confirm timing when you ask. Natural stone varies piece to piece, so confirm colour and texture with a sample before you specify it.

In-stock stones ship as soon as the order is confirmed. Every other stone shows its lead time from order to arrival on its page; the collection’s Lead time filter groups them: in stock, within 8 weeks, 8–16 weeks and 16+ weeks.

Yes. Special orders are imported for your project, so a deposit is taken when the order is placed. We confirm the details with your quote.

Many stones have a minimum order. We’ll confirm it with your quote.

No. Special-order stone is brought in for your project and can’t be returned, so confirm colour, texture and quantities with a sample and your quote first.

Yes. Global Select stones ship nationwide, by truckload or LTL freight, with the importing, freight and delivery managed by one Stonewood team from door to site.

Yes. Global Select is built for the trade: samples before you specify, a Project List you can share with a client by link or email, and truckload and LTL delivery for larger projects. See Stonewood Architectural and Stonewood Pro, and the spec sheets in our document library.

Yes. Architects, builders, designers and landscape pros work with a Stonewood specialist on quotes for their projects. See Stonewood Architectural.
