Finish Option #1: Timeless Tung Oil Finish (sold exclusively at Stonewood Products)

Timeless Tung Oil Finish forms a protective finish that won’t chip, peel, crack, or wrinkle. It never requires sanding except before the initial application when the floor is installed.

Timeless Tung Oil Finish is easier to apply than urethanes. It stays workable longer than waterborne or oil-based urethanes - dries slowly. Timeless Tung Oil Finish is also self-leveling so lap marks, turns, and cut-ins disappear. You can even add a color stain to this finish, thus eliminating time-consuming installation steps. Touch-ups can be done at any time without sanding down; no sanding is needed for adhesion purposes.

You don't need to be a professional to apply Timeless Tung Oil Finish. By following our installation guidelines (available with every purchase), you can achieve beautifully finished floors. Even if you are considering hiring a contractor to sand and refinish your floors, years from now when your floors need to be refreshed, the job will be quicker, easier, less expensive, and without the mess of having to sand down to bare wood.

Finish Option #2: Polyurethane
Tremont Antique Nails

These nails come in three main classifications: Cut Box, Cut Common, and Wrought Head. All supply an authentic look that dates back 200 years in our history. Tremont Nail is America's oldest nail manufacturer and we stand behind their quality product.

Cut nails possess great durability. They are hard to pull out because the wood fibers are pushed downward and wedge against the nails, thus greatly reducing loosening. Once you or your customers have used them, they will prefer them for all kinds of work.

As your pine floors wear and aquire their own unique character, you can apply additional coats of our Timeless Tung Oil Finish to bring out the wood's natural patina and preserve its charm. Re-applying Timeless Tung Oil Finish is easy.
