WHY IS THIS PRODUCT GREEN?
We salvage timbers from old mills and historic buildings, de-nail them, and mill them into flooring products. Simply put, we don’t just make flooring. We saw the recycled timbers into various boards in a number of sizes to increase the yield. We then optimize each board by creating moldings, treads, wainscot, & flooring.
Note on Engineered:
1/8” salvaged Antique Heart Pine comprises the top layer of this flooring and it is backed with 7-ply Birch for stability. Through the manufacturing process, stability is dramatically enhanced to eliminate gapping and movement of the wood. No acclimation needed.

BAMBOO FLOORING - Carbonized or Natural
Offered as Prefinished or Engineered Flooring.
WHY IS THIS PRODUCT GREEN?
Bamboo is actually a grass, not a wood. It’s resource-efficient, a biobased material, and comes from a replenishable supply. A bamboo shoot reaches full size in two years. By the third year, the shoot is no longer feeding the plant. Removing the shoot actually promotes its regeneration.
Note: Harvesting in these forests is not a threat to Pandas because they seek bamboo at higher elevations.

• Releases minimal pollutants due to the UV coating on this flooring being certified to be free of formaldehyde,
pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, insecticides, halogenated hydro-carbons, or any other harmful substance.

"RARE & BEAUTIFUL" Ponderosa Pine
Offered as Unfinished Flooring.
WHY IS THIS PRODUCT GREEN?
Ponderosa Pine trees are susceptible to bark beetle infestation, the younger the trees the more susceptible they are. Under drought conditions, the trees are more likely to fall prey. Bark beetles mine the buds and shoots of the Ponderosa Pine. When outbreaks take place, even with the best efforts of our supplier, timber dies. Our supplier salvages these dead timbers and mills them into flooring, turning an otherwise lost resource into a “green” flooring product.
